It came a couple weeks late, but Teryn's first birthday celebration was a great time. It was so nice to sit with friends and family and celebrate the blessings and miracles this amazing girl has shown us over the past year.
The guests are arriving and ready to eat lunch. Mommy and Daddy bought waaaaaay too much food. We had several families not be able to attend because of sick children. We are still very careful about Teryn's exposure.

Birthday decorations for the princess.

Teryn is having fun trying to grab GG's nose.

GG loved getting to spend some special time with Teryn.

Proud Mommy and the beautiful birthday girl.

Teryn still is not "eating" solid foods. But, she still needed her own birthday cake so we got her an electronic one and let her taste a smidgen of icing. Everyone began singing "Happy Birthday" and she loved it. She began smiling and laughing. The grandmas and aunts loved it so much that they decided to sing the song three times. Then they began singing "Twinkle Twinkle." Teryn didn't like this selection as well and called an end to the private concert.

So cute smiling at everyone.

Teryn got to spend a little quality time with her special friends Mr. and Mrs. Ray.

Time to open presents. She tolerated sitting still with me for one gift. Look how looooong she has gotten.

A few of the gifts.

Loving her swing she got from GG and Poppy. She will have to keep using it at Grandma and Grandaddy's until we have a place to hang it at our house.

Since Teryn was more concerned about being cuddled, Paige tested out a few of the toys for us.

Aunt Bobbie got Teryn an adorable bunny that sings and flops her ears. Teryn stops to listen every time it plays. We have used it as a secret weapon when she is upset. We play the bunny and she stops crying long enough to listen.

After all of the guests had gone home Teryn took a nap with Grandaddy outside. She was worn out from all the visitors.

It was a wonderful day of celebrating our girl.
Happy Birthday! I love the cupcake cakes!
