Friday night was our school's Spring Fling. Last year was the first year and it was a hit and so much fun. It is so great to have the opportunity to see the kiddos outside of the classroom with their families. I was very sad to have missed it.
As I was settling back into my room after a long day at the hospital I received an email from my dad. It had a picture of a poster:
My wonderful Waller family had an impromptu fundraiser to help alleviate some of our rising expenses related to Teryn's hospital stay.
I was extremely touched and even more sad that I had to miss out on the fun. My school family is truly a family. I am so blessed to be with such an amazing group of coworkers, students, and parents.
Even though I had to miss the festivities my parents and James made it for the fun. Next year Teryn and I will be there ready for sno-cones, cotton candy, and fun games.
